Make a Difference Day

Make a Difference Day (MDDay) is a national day of service where thousands of people across the country get together and give back to their communities through volunteerism. This family friendly event is great for anyone wanting to get an idea about the multiple different ways they can give back to the Summit County community that we all love. This year, MDDay is October 5th from 8am-3pm at the Frisco Bus Barns.

This is the 22nd year MDDay has been organizing volunteers to give back to communities across the country, and this is the 15th year the event has been happening in Summit County.  Every year, non-profits in need of volunteer help sign up for the event and over 300 Summit County locals give their time. With events ranging from trail work to painting projects, there is something for everyone on this awesome day of giving.

What's a little snow with it comes to serving our community?

MDDay is the largest service day of the year in Summit County and is one of the best family friendly events around.  Not only is it a great way to give back to the local community, but also gives volunteers the opportunity to tap into a network of active and caring likeminded individuals and non-profits.
