Summit County Rotarians are a fantastic group of adventurers, supporters and do-gooders!  Especially through the Write the Rockies event presented by our Literacy committee.  Check out the article in the SDN!

There is NOT a meeting next week - April 22!  Stay Home!  Sleep in!

We Need Volunteers!
50th Anniversary July 12 Event -   Making Good Things Happen for 50 Years.
Show your Rotary pride and don’t miss out!  Please review the available slots and go to signup genius or  click on the button to sign up.

Our top priorities are: Growing Membership, Inspiring Engagement, Fundraising and Marketing.  I believe we are well on our way to reaching these goals.  We can increase membership through a new program called Impact/Companion Club.  There are many people in the community who volunteer for 'service-oriented' projects.  We can offer them the opportunity to become Rotarians at a lower dues structure and having RI backing while giving back to the community!  The Board has decided to pursue this avenue, so we will keep you posted on its progress.

Take a look at the fun our Happy Hour was at Uptown Main last week.

Join the activity on May 15th at Briar Rose in Breckenridge at 4:30 and show the community how much fun we have while making GOOD THINGS HAPPEN for 50 years!!

On May 6, Dr. Max Smolkin will be talking to us about Sleeping at High Altitude, which is a topic everyone should be interested in. If people consider inviting a neighbor or friend as a potential member or just an interested third party, this is the time. But if they do that, we'll need to know in advance to prepare Ranay for additional food. They can RSVP to me if they bring someone to the meeting. JLRotary25@gmail.com

I would like to see every member give to the Charitable Fund and/or the Rotary Foundation.  Any amount is a gift - $5, $10, $30 or more.  Please consider donating - without your contributions we would not be able to accomplish the things we do!

If you have any ideas to re-invigorate any of our existing programs or ideas for new fundraising events, bring them to the Board.  We need any and all ideas!

I so enjoy hugging( or fist-bumping ) each and every one of you!  Keep your family and friends close to your heart

Show up, participate, and have fun!

Wendy
