Yea! Spring is really here according to the Farmer's Almanac. Spring is a time to renew - watch the snow melt, chip the remaining ice in the driveway, and clean the winter out of the house!
Our Club's priorities are Growing Membership and Inspiring Engagement. Bring a friend to a meeting, invite them to participate in an activity (like our monthly happy hours), join in the EPIC Day of Service on May 17th, and show the community how much fun we have while making GOOD THINGS HAPPEN for 50 years!!
The newly proposed IMPACT/Companion Clubmay be a great way to incorporate people who want to just participate in service projects only. The Board has decided to pursue this avenue; however, it will take some time to get the ball rolling. If you are interested in this endeavor, please notify any member of the Board.
Another Club priority is Fundraising. We have two major fundraising events; Ice Melt and Car Raffle. We are scheduled to sell Ice Melt tickets at A-Basin on Saturday, April 12. This is our LAST CHANCE to sell! Any help with this endeavor is greatly appreciated! Turn your stubs and money in on or before the April 15th meeting. The deadline is actually April 14 when all tickets must be in the hands of a Rotarian.
Another way to increase our fundraising efforts is to have every member give to the Charitable Fund and the Rotary Foundation. Any amount is a gift - $5, $10, $30 or more. If you have any ideas to re-invigorate any of our existing programs, bring them to the Board. We need any and all ideas!
The fourth priority our Club has adopted is to promote our Service Projects and celebrate our successes through Marketing. If you are interested in helping with keeping the website relevant and increasing our social media presence, please let Anthony Sole, Judi LaPoint or myself know.
I so enjoy hugging( or fist-bumping ) each and every one of you! Keep your family and friends close to your heart . Show up, participate, and have fun!
Personally, I have been part of this community for 28 years, dedicating my career to supporting Summit County’s most trusted organizations. My role at the Summit Foundation allows me to amplify the incredible work we do, ensuring our impact is known and felt throughout the region. I believe deeply in the Four-Way Test — ensuring that our work is truthful, fair, builds goodwill and benefits all. I love what I do and look forward to engaging with Rotary, as so much of our mission aligns in improving the lives of those around us.
As a marketing professional, I have dedicated my career to increasing awareness and engagement in our community. From my work at the town of Frisco and the Breckenridge Tourism Office to championing the hospital and revitalizing the Breck Film Festival, I have shaped longstanding events and campaigns that drive participation and impact. I believe in the power of autonomy, mastery, and purpose to create meaningful connections and lasting change, a philosophy that has guided my work in building programs that strengthen our community.

To ensure that the club newsletter and other Clubrunner emails are successfully delivered to your email inbox, add the following email address and domain name to your email's contact list/safe senders/whitelist:
Email spam filters often include the ability to "whitelist" certain sender IP addresses, email addresses or domain names to protect their email from being rejected or sent to a junk mail folder.
From Wickipedia: A whitelist is (1) a list of email addresses that a mail server or email client program is configured to accept as valid, incoming mail. Also called a "safe senders list," only messages from addresses on the list are allowed, and all the rest are discarded. (2) A list of valid domain names that a mail server is configured to accept. All mail from users with that domain are allowed.
Gmail:
According to internet: Gmail offers an option to add specific addresses or domains as "safe" so they aren't automatically marked as spam, known as a "Whitelist." Your Whitelists must be managed and set by you. If you want to accept all email sent from a specific address, follow these instructions:
Log in to your Gmail
Click the gear icon in the top-right, and select Settings.
Click the Filters and Blocked Addresses tab.
Click Create at New Filter.
In the pop-up window, in the From field enterthe clubrunner email addresses listed above separated by OR. example mailservice@clubrunner.ca OR @clubrunner.email
