My Inspiration: Curiosity

There’s something magical happening in our Rotary room lately — it’s buzzing with energy, laughter, and, most of all, curiosity. Week after week, we’ve seen our tables fill to capacity… in fact, we even had to add an extra table just to fit everyone in! That tells me something exciting: word is spreading. People are curious about Rotary, and they want to know more.

But here’s the thing… when I talk to folks in our community, I often hear the same response when I ask, “Why aren’t you in Rotary?”
And you know what they say?
“Because nobody ever asked me.”

Think about that for a second. There was a time when Rotary was viewed as an exclusive club — invitation-only, reserved for VIPs and community leaders. But those days are gone. Rotary today is open, welcoming, diverse, and full of heart.

Still, if people are waiting to be asked, then maybe it’s time we ask the question.
If you meet someone passionate about serving others… if you see a neighbor volunteering, organizing, helping, being the change — chances are, they already have a Rotarian heart.

So go ahead. Be bold. Be curious.
Just ask: “Why aren’t you in Rotary?”
It’s that simple — and it could change a life.

If you need proof of that, ask Tina and Chris! Six of our latest guests have been people they've asked that question! Thanks to you both!
