A note from Red Cross:
Our Disaster Cycle Services team is responding to rapidly evolving operations across Southern Colorado, and we need your help. We are urgently seeking volunteers who are willing to become Shelter Service Associates to support shelters serving communities in Lake, Pueblo, Custer and Fremont counties. The need is immediate, and every additional volunteer helps us provide safe shelter and compassionate care to those impacted.
If you are already shelter trained, and willing to respond and fill a shift please go to Volunteer Connection, Select the “My Shifts” Tab, Go to “Disaster Relief Operation-Volunteer Shifts.” At the top of the screen, select “List” to see all open shifts. Register for any shifts you can take.
Whether you can volunteer for one shift or several, your support will make a meaningful difference for families who need a safe place to stay during this response. Thank you for your continued compassion, flexibility, and commitment to serving our communities when they need us most.
