Community Dinner

In this photo, Rotarians celebrate our 100,000th meal milestone. Many of these same dedicated members went on to celebrate our 200,000th meal served in 2025. This journey represents thousands of warm, nutritious meals provided to community members in need over the years. Our Tuesday night dinners continue to make a meaningful difference in Summit County, one plate at a time!

Community Dinner
Every Tuesday night since March 2009, the Rotary Club of Summit County and many partners in our community have served a complete, balanced meal to our neighbors in need. Even during COVID, we prepared meals that could be picked up and taken home to enjoy. Each Tuesday, from 5:00 - 7:00, anyone in the community hungry for nourishment -including food or fellowship - is welcome at the Elks Lodge in Silverthorne. Meals include fresh fruit, salad, a main and side dish, plus dessert. We have raised over $500k to purchase food, pay for the space, upgrade the cooking as food storage areas, and keep people fed. We are proud to be the primary driving force behind this effort which has served over 200,000 free meals and thank our many community partners.
